Are you passionate about women’s empowerment, sustainable farming, and global development? Join AWE Global as our Women’s Program Coordinator and help launch a life-changing initiative in Malawi!


We’re preparing to train over 60 women farmers this summer — with the goal of supporting 600+ women in building sustainable, chemical-free farms and stronger, healthier food systems.

 

Your Role

As our Women’s Program Coordinator, you’ll play a key part in:

  • Coordinating with our local partner in Malawi

  • Supporting program and curriculum design

  • Helping register participants and book training venues

  • Making sure everything is ready for a successful program rollout

It’s a hands-on project management and coordination role — perfect for someone who wants real-world experience while making a tangible impact.

 

Qualifications & Key Qualities

  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal

  • Strong organizational abilities — you can manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Deadline-driven — able to prioritize effectively and stay on track

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams

  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work

  • Interest in sustainable agriculture and women’s empowerment

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, remote work environment

 

Position Details

  • Start Date: Early May

  • Some flexibility in hours and contract length for the right candidate

  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, aged 15–30
